Inspirations. && other stuff:
Ever read twilight? I'm guessing you know the special someone who this is about. We had to write a poem for homework one night, and I decided to use that guy as an inspiration- YOu twilight fans may notice the details aren't exact, but I used my imagination (and rhymes, sometimes :P).
He had black, midnight hair
And russet-coloured skin
A hint of childish roundness,
And dark, mahogany eyes
He built cars, he told me
“I can make you one” he said
To his handsome, husky voice
I replied "I like them red"
Laughing, always laughing
I thought of him as my personal sun
He was my life, my dreams
He was the one
We strolled along that beach
The waves humming a musical tune
The sky a perfect blue,
My favourite type of afternoon
We hung out at his father’s barn
I remember it so well
The bitter-sweet hay
Was a such wonderful smell
One day he asked me
What I thought about staying together
I stroked his face, tenderly
I said “Forever”
Her eyes are the ocean
Glittering, silvery blue
Her hair a golden rainbow
Which twists and tangles
The freckles on her nose,
Scattered like stars
Her face a piece of art
Which I long to reach out for
Her skin, marble white
Smooth, like piece of cloth
She’s a piece of art
Neath the Mistletoe Written with a friend- I miss you Lexi! So if it's especially good, it's our two minds together! ♥ Beneath a bough of mistletoe, I hear the drift of silent snow, The tingling bells throughout the night The icy wind my toes does bite For nothing do I truly wait, Till what does take its course but fate And as I breathe in even breaths I lay down for a winter’s rest A single fragrant charming rose Finds its way to needing nose He came with softly swaying wind Made me feel once more a friend He kissed me there, right on the lips The last candle burning low, The shadows creeping in Everyone was gone But him
